Life

In the next 6 years I plan on graduating with a masters degree for social work. In the next ten years I hope to be well into my career as a social worker.

I'm in your 151 class at 8 in the morning so I'll have to keep my blog going.

Classes next cemester

I'm taking a once a week principals of psychology class monday nights at 6:30. I took the class because i like psychology.
I'm in an english class at 8 in the morning on mondays and thursdays. Im taking that class because I have to

College

When i was enrolling into college, I was told that it wasd hard and it required alot of work to be successfull. I was never told that I was gonna suck at it at first. I wish some one told me that so I wouldn't be so surprised when I sucked. But now im ok at College I guess. I figured out that all you have to do is stay on top of things at all times, or else you wont be able to keep up with the class......I found out the hard way.

Class

I believe I have learned alot from this class. I have learned how to write with some words off limits, and I have learned some new meanings from words. I have also how to collectively get my ideas down on paper

UPS

UPS called me back about a job working on the trucks for deliveries. I know that UPS pays very well and they have good benefits. I just hope this job workes out better than Home Depot. I still need to call UPS back, but if they called me back im pretty sure they need me.

Santas list

The thing i want most this year ia a new computer. i have had this computer for almost 6 years, and it is horrible

Another thing i want is a new bowling ball. The one i have is pretty old, and i just want a new one

What i NEED the most is just some money to buy everyone else christmas gifts. If you hadn't noticed, christmas gifts arent cheap at all. Since i dont have a job now, funds are kind of low. It would be really cool to have some extra cash.

I am thankful for my amazing friends first of all. They have allways been there for me and they allways will be.
Im thankful for some of my family. Some others in my family i wish werent there.
im also thankful for my amazing girlfriend.......but im not gonna describe that because noone really wants to hear people rant about their girlfriends.

Work

Ever since i got canned from home depot i've been lookin for another job. I dont know where to go but i pt applications in at BJ's and places at the mall......maybe i should go to Lowes.

WOW!!!!

I found out today that my job got rid of me. they told me that i was rude to the customers and i hung out at the back of the store......thats a lie. they just got rid of me because i was getting payed 2 dollars more than everyone else there.that is increadibly unfair. if i have to drive all the way to absecon i think i should get paid more and not get fired for it!!!!

Dear "Friend"

I feel you are wrong about my friends. Don't judge my friends before you even know them. You don't even know who they really are, or what they have dont for me. They are not immature, my friends and I just like to have a good time. Honestly I don't think you like my friends because they are opinonated and stand up for what they believe in. Don't think for a minute that I will stand for these blind assumptions of my friends. So as your friend, treat me and my other friends with the same respect that I treat you with.

School

Sometimes I feel that school is like a full time job. It takes alot of time and effort to be successful in school. I also believe that people should be subjected to the same rules and regulations as a job, to an extent. When it comes down to it school and jobs are two different worlds. At a job you get paid weekly for services. At school you are educated so that later in life you can have a good job. I believe that school gets us ready for the working world. I don't think college should have harsh settings, because most things in college are new to people.

OCC Experience

My OCC experience has been good this year compared to last year. Last year I did not like my professors all that much. They're not the only ones to blame, I was in a very different state of mind last year. I feel more grown up this time arround and I am having a better experience. When I entered college I knew that there would be times that i hated it, and there would be times that I would enjoy being here. Last year i hated college, but this year I find that I am enjoying it more than I used to. I believe that my expectations have been me for college thus far.

There are many different song lyrics, and sayings that i live by. One of the most influential sayings that I have ever come across is "you don't need a reason to help people". I based my life off of that saying because it is true, and I find myself much happier when i can help someone out. Also when you can help people out with their situations they have respect for who you are.

I believe these lyrics were written to express how the singer loved someone, and they turned on him. It sounds like she took all he had when all he did was love her. After all that was done to him he is left alone with noone. I like these lyrics especially because I can relate to them. A similar thing happened to me not to long ago, and I can relate to the feelings to what he is talking about. It allways feels good when you know your not the only one in the world that goes through rough times

Human interactions

I sometimes do get into pointless meaningless conversations over nothing and that mean nothing to me. Most of the time the conversations are about my friends being in bad relationships, allways arguing, or just anything else like that. This leads me to believe that most people aren't friends anymore. People have become more of colleagues than friends. People just know eachother enough to say hellow or have a friendly conversation. People have many reasons for doing that. Some people don't want to get hurt. Some people don't want to get dragged into someone elses business. I am the opposite of that standard. I don't like to have standoff relationships with people. I have a group of about 5-7 people that i trust with my life. I love to have people that will have my back in a tough situation, or will just help me out in a tough situation. It seems to me that everyone is much easier to get along with and friendlier when they have alot of people who care for them.

Yellowstone park

I think the government owes us to tell us exactilcally what is going on with yellowstoen park. I believe the government has issued a statement on it from time to time, but they're not telling us the whole truth. The government only tells the public how much they need to know. The government doesn't want panic to start if anything goes wrong with the studies and they're wrong about yellowstone. Either way, i think we should be told the truth about what is going on with Yellowstone park

The english language

I myself think the english language is a a mixture of all languages, we also added new words of our own. this makes it the hardest language in the world to understand and speak. I dont really think this language will die out. The language allways changes, so the language will allways change in some regard but will never go away

Instant message writing compared to college paper writing

I believe that instant messaging and e-mail writing is a form of real writing. I think it is much easier to write your friends, than to write a paper for college. People can write pages and pages to their friends because it's something that comes from free thinking and everyday activities. College papers are limmited to one subject usually, and the college papers are assighned to you so they have to be done. When someone is told to do something, they naturally don't want to listen. Thats why i think it is so much harder for students to write college papers.

I myself find it very hard to stay focused and concentrated when I have to do a writing assignment for school. I never want to do the work, so my mind drifts off somewhere else. I know if I don't do the paper im going to fail the course so I allways end up doing it.
