English 152

I just want to know what books we need to read for the next class. If I could find out what I need to read I can get a headstart on it because I allready signed up for 152.

Assignments

I think this assignment was easier because we got to choose what we wanted to write about. That makes it easier to write alot. And we have the opportunity to write on something we actually enjoy.

Definitions

Decadent-the act or process of falling into an inferior condition or state, deterioration or decay.
Commonplace-ordinary, undistinguished or uninteresting. without individuality.
Augument- to make larger in size, number, strength.
Telecommunications-transmission of information, as words, sounds, or images, usually over great distances, in the form of electromagnetic signals, as by telegraph, telephone, radio, or television.
Transistor-A small electronic device containing a semiconductor and having at least three electrical contacts, used in a circuit as an amplifier, detector, or switch.

Politicians

I believe that the people of america are voting for who they believe will be the best in office, but the people getting elected arent the best cantidadtes in the world. I know tons of people near where i live that don't get out and vote. If people would get out and vote it might change things a little bit. Right now I think we're having a long stretch of bad luck, I don't think anyone thought our president would do the things he's doing right now in office.

8 page paper

I finnished my 8 page paper finally. That paper was harder to write than it looks, and now I find out that I need to present the paper to my class. It has to be a 5-7 minute presentation. I dont know what im gonna do I hate talking in front of the class.

Psychology

I'm in the middle of my 8 page paper for principals of psychology. I'm about 5 pages in to the paper.....and i'm completely stuck as to what to write next. They'res not much more to write about. I'v written everything that I can find on the internet and in my books at home.

Traditions

I think some traditions will fade out. The traditions that bring the whole family together and make everyone happy or are incredabily funny will stick arround through the generations.

Employers

I think employers have every right to dreug test their employees. If I was hiring someone to work in my house I would want to know if they were addicted to pot or cocaine. Drug testing tells the employeers what kind of person they are concidering to hire, and if the person isn,t clean on the day of the drug test. Than they cant stay clean enough to commit to the job.

Convicts

I think the situation depends on if they deserve parole. Something like drug abuse or selling drugs should have a parole system. If someone is put in prison for murder or rape. Than they should not be allowed to get parole. I think this because there is no getting better from raping or murdering someone. People who have drug addictions can be weined off it, and people who sell drugs can clean their act up and stop selling.

Sports

Sports in this country are very competative. In this country we need to win everything to feel like we accomplished something. It sometimes portrays the image that this country is self centered. Overall I think our attitude of sports says that we are a country of "me."

Blind justice

I dont think any court system is blind anymore.....and maybe they never were. our court system knows when someone is rich, poor, or where they styand in society. That usually determins what happens with the case, weather the persons let off or penalized.

Public Education

From my eperience in highschool I was allways told that it is better to be an A student. I also had teachers tell me that you don't need A's to be a good student. C is what most students are expected to get. A's are for exceptional work. I think that schools promote mediocracy, but they try not to......if that makes any sense

government employees

I think government employees should have the same right as any other employees. Isn't that what freedom is all about? I mean if the government is treating their employees unfairly than they should have the right to strike.The only time a strike is needed is when there is no communication left.

Psychology class

I have to do an 8 page paper in my principals of psychology class. It's due on April 11th. I have to write it on cognitive development of a humans mind. This should be one of the worst papers I will ever have to write.

Communities

I think the best thing about our community is that no matter what you do, youre gonna have fun no matter where you go. This commun ity is all about having fun. The worst thing about this community is that noone will want to actually live here. they will only a vacation spot.

March 16th

On Marcg 16th im going to another show with soilwork. Its in the tracadero in pennsylvania. I dont really know where that is so im going to have to get directions. but it should be a fun show Throwdowns also gonna be there

Media Entertainment

I do believe that most news centers only report the newest and latest on celebrities. I think they do that only because their ratings have to be high in order for the station to keep running. By doing that the news only tells us what we want to know or lets us see what we want to see. I think the news stations put the real news on the backburner because they have to to keep up with the other stations.

stereotyped

I made my identi-kit by choosing the pictures of the things I love to do. I chose some pictures of bowling and bowling balls. I love everything about bowling. I love the mentality of the game and the competition of the game. I also chose pictures of bands playing at a show. I chose that because I also love going to shows.

Sick

I've been off and on with being sick the past two weeks.....and it sucks. it all started when I started working at WAWA. As soon as I started pumping gas I was sick. I think just being out in the elements makes me sick. Anyway.....im gonna be sick this whole weekend and I have to work with that.

March 7th

On march 7th im going to a show at starland ballroom. It should be an amazing show, Theres alot of big bands going there. Divine heracy, Chimaira, and All That Reamins is headlining the show. I cant wait im buying the tickets in a couple of days.

Writing

The most fun I've ever had writing was last semester writing a paper on whatever I wanted. I liked writing this because it was one of the easiest grades I ever got. I chose bowling because it's a sport I know alot about and I love the sport. the paper was 3 pages long and I could have written more.
